Welcome to Micronesia! This incredible, beautiful area is located in the Western Pacific Ocean and is a paradise filled with pristine beaches, tropical forests, undiscovered islands and water-rich coral reefs. Micronesia is an island paradise consisting of seven island groups: Guam, Kiribati, Northern Mariana Islands, Marshall Islands, Palau and Nauru.

There are many beautiful and interesting cities in Micronesia. Guam is the largest and the most populated island. It is a desirable destination especially for tourists, as it offers a number of amenities that cannot be found anywhere else. With a total population of just under 163,000, it is the second largest city in Micronesia. When on the island, one must explore the capital city of Hagåtña, the bars and restaurants, the historical sites, and the white sand beaches.

Kiribati, the largest group of islands in Micronesia, has a population of about 115,000. Tarawa is the capital with a population of over 64,000. With its beautiful lagoons, white sand beaches, botanical garden and rich culture, Tarawa is the one to see when looking at Micronesia.

The Mariana Islands, consisting of Saipan, Tinian and Rota, are also a must-see destination in Micronesia. Saipan is the largest and most populated island in the group and is home to about 50,000 inhabitants. Palau is famous for its paradise islands, coral reefs and incredible underwater world. It is a true jewel in Micronesia and a popular destination for divers and nature lovers. The most populous city is the capital, Ngerulmud, with a population of just under 5,000.

Nauru is the smallest nation in Micronesia with a population of about 11,000. It is also known for its abundance of phosphate mountains. The capital, Yaren, is home to the largest number of residents and offers some interesting sights such as the Aiwo Quarter and the Nourulu Quarter.

Micronesia is packed with interesting attractions and activities.
